Designated by the United Nations, today we celebrate International Yoga Day, which aims to raise awareness around the world of the many benefits yoga may offer in your daily life.
Here at SATXtoday, we love sharing events that promote physical activity — especially if they’re free. So if you’re a yoga enthusiast (or a future yogi), here are 10 free events that are happening around the city that can help you jumpstart your practice.

If you hear the word “wicker” and think of a frumpy, broken piece of furniture, you’re not alone — but thanks to Outer, a company that crafts stylish outdoor furniture with an eye toward sustainability, it’s time to rethink wicker. By using recycled water bottles as source material, Outer has created eco-friendly wicker furniture that not only looks ultra-modern, but is durable enough to last a decade.
