Howdy, San Antonio. 👋
We would like to extend a big ‘ol south Texas welcome to all our readers from SATXtoday.
How’s it feel knowing you’re about to become one of the most informed + connected residents in the Alamo City? Pretty sweet, if you ask us.
We’re so excited to deliver you news about the latest and greatest this city has to offer every weekday at 6 a.m. directly to your email inbox.
Here at SATXtoday we are passionate about our city + that’s why today we’re sharing some of our top picks of things that make San Antonio amazing.
How can we not fall in love with a city that looks this stunning? | Photo by @vrushabh4
⛪ Historic roots
We will never forget the Alamo, but many locals may also remember it by its mission name — Mission San Antonio de Valero. Whether you’re wanting to visit all five historic Catholic missions or looking to stroll around a repurposed landmark brewery, this city has plenty to enjoy for even the most fervent of history buffs.
🎡 Entertainment
Six Flags Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld San Antonio, and Schlitterbahn New Braunfels — need we say more? It’s never a dull weekend in the Alamo City.
🌮 Food + Culture
Locals will agree that San Antonio is known for having a vibrant food scene. This has been confirmed with the city ranking 4th in best tacos — that’s three places too low, if you ask us. And, it's no secret that San Antonio loves to party with city-wide events like Fiesta + Día de los Muertos.
🏕️ Texas Hill Country
We understand that getting out of the city to unwind can be a precious experience. Good news for you — day trips to state parks like Garner, Guadalupe River, and Enchanted Rock are made easy with the city’s proximity to the Hill Country.
We are thrilled to be a part of the San Antonio community and look forward to showcasing our beautiful city.
