Development -
A development along I-10 may soon bring four 5,000-sqft buildings with drive-thrus south of Boerne's Main Street. The $5 million project, Boerne Town Center, is slated to break ground in October with its completion expected in late Q2 next year. ⚒️ (San Antonio Business Journal)

A $2.9 million brewery and bar is coming to 414 Brooklyn Ave. near Elsewhere. LA-based Pouring with Heart Brewery is looking to renovate an existing warehouse that will feature an open-air bar area. Construction on the 6,900-sqft project is set to begin in September. 🍺

According to a filing, a $50 million apartment complex named GreenGate Village is slated for construction at 11815 Kilmarnoch Ln. in the Westover Hills area. The project will consist of 18 two-story and two three-story apartment buildings that will break ground early next year. 🏢
Biz -
According to the National Park Service, the San Antonio Missions were estimated to have generated $165 million through visitor spending + job wages in the last year. This is the biggest economic impact the Missions have seen in at least nine years. (SA Report)

Texans have recently reported skyrocketing home electric bills, with many customers paying at least 50% more than they did this time last year. An official from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has attributed the hike partly due to last year’s grid disaster. 🔌 (NEWS4SA)

Rainbow Gardens and Curator Coffee are teaming up to host two plant swap, coffee hour, and ceramics events at 2923 Thousand Oaks Dr. Unit 4. The first event has already sold out, with tickets for the second event on Thurs., July 28 soon to be posted. 🪴
