You know it's summer in the Alamo City when you have to say goodbye to your favorite pair of jeans and pull out the sandals + breezy shorts. Let’s face it, the Texas heat has you sweating at 6AM. That means it’s also the perfect time to swap that hot brew for an iced cold cup of java.
We asked what your favorite local spot to grab an iced coffee and this is what y’all had to say:
An all-star cold brew lineup from The Hayden. | 📸 : @thehayden_sa
“The Rustic Bean on Blanco Road has the best iced mocha latte. It’s 32 oz, only $5, and made with iced coffee ice cubes.” - Jill
“Any iced coffee from Stranded Coffee, Brown Coffee, or Southbound Coffee. If you stop at Southbound, make sure to try the Bees Knees made with a simple housemade honey + cinnamon syrup.” - Zahra
“The cold brew latte from Black Rifle Coffee. Our Cordillera Sole Sisters running team's favorite stop for an iced coffee after a Saturday morning run.” - Tammy
“The iced triple-layer brownie latte from Texas Ground Coffee Company is located in Helotes inside a 113-year-old building. They roast their own coffee in-house, have a bed and breakfast upstairs + have the most incredible staff you’ll ever meet.” - Jen
“Mascafeporfavor2020 has a fabulous Tres Leches iced coffee.” - Roseann
“The iced macchiato from Mullet Coffee Co. is delicious.” - Kristan
“Head to The Shed in La Vernia for an iced matcha latte with coconut milk or the white lightning with caramelized drizzle + sweet cream cold foam.” - Rebecca

“I’m obsessed with the iced coco cajeta latte with oat milk from Eight Ball Coffee located in Southtown.” - Rossi, SATXtoday City Editor
“I don't drink iced coffee, because coffee should be hot. I do like to visit HTeaO for iced tea or fruit-infused refreshing water. There is also a Brevity that recently opened up and I like to go by to get smoothies.” - Carolyn, SATXtoday Sales Executive
“I love the iced matcha horchata drink from Me Latte.” - Saryvette, SATXtoday intern
“The rose matcha latte from Vice Coffee at St. Paul Square was amazing.” - Ivan, SATXtoday City Editor
