Individuals hired into these positions are not City of San Antonio employees, but are employees of the Corporation. These positions answer only to the Corporation Board by whom they are employed and represent only the respective Mayor or Councilmember’s point of view in serving constituents. Management Fellows program
Since 2007, the City of San Antonio, Texas has offered emerging local government professionals with the opportunity to immerse themselves in local government management and develop real world skills and experience as part of the Management Fellow Program. This nationally-recognized 12-month program, will give you the opportunity to complete important projects and work alongside key leaders of the nation's 7th largest city. Each Management Fellow will receive the opportunity to spend four months in each of the following departments:
- the City Manager's Office
- the Office of Management and Budget
- one operating department
Management Fellows will be exposed to multiple challenges that local governments face today, as well as new and innovative methods to deal with these challenges.
Each rotation will provide the Management Fellows with a broad base of experience that will benefit both the individual employee as well as the City in the future.
Upon completion of the 12-month program, City staff will work with each Management Fellow to help them find a full-time position that matches their individual career interests.

MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE
The City of San Antonio's Municipal Court is now accepting applications for full-time and part-time Municipal Court Judges. Job duties for a Municipal Court Judge may include: a) the performance of magistrate duties and b) overnight and weekend shifts.
Municipal Court Judges are appointed by the City Council for two-year terms. Salary is determined by the City Council.

Application Period: Applications, questionnaires, and resumes will be accepted beginning Sunday, February 18 through Friday, March 1.
To be considered for the position of Municipal Court Judge, please follow the instructions below.
